Your whole body will feel the pressure

No matter how well you ate before starting your trip, after a time, you will start to feel the emptiness as your body will burn the carbs and sugar at a much faster rate when you are cycling. You will need to keep a supply of energy bards and water with you to refuel your body for the rest of the distance. Getting dehydrated during the trip can make the cramps more intense and last longer.

Face the winds

A long-distance cycling trip outside the city will include a lot of hills. Sometimes the wind may also work against you. No matter how much you hate it, you cannot ignore the natural obstacles. In this time, you cannot think of giving up. Instead, you should look for changing your cycling strategy by changing the gears to a more easier setting and decreasing your RPMs to enjoy the obstacles.
